BJP MLA from Mangaluru City North constituency Dr. Y. Bharat Shetty has expressed strong anger over Minister Basavaraj Rayareddy’s statement that Islam is superior and that people should not go to temples and monasteries, and has demanded that he be removed from the cabinet immediately.Speaking in Mangaluru, he said that the term “variety of disguises for the sake of food” is apt for Congress leaders. This makes it clear what drama they are doing just for votes. He lashed out at the minister, who should have been focusing on improving education, for the sake of vote bank by saying that foreign religion is better than one’s own religion, thereby insulting all religions.
