Prakash Anchan, a campaigner for the Save Government Schools movement, has expressed strong objection to the government’s proposal to adopt government schools by private educational institutions. Giving a press statement on this, he said that it is welcome for social organizations, education lovers, donors and public representatives to adopt government schools for their development. However, there is a possibility of confusion in the education system due to private educational institutions adopting government schools, and he questioned whether this is an attempt to close government schools.
